Question by KimiBabeee: What is the easiest way to get in Protein Supplements after Bariatric Surgery.?
Since protein supps do not come in Pill form (anyone know why?) I have considerable trouble drinking the amounts of protein supplements I need to drink daily since having bariatric surgery. It all makes me sick to my stomach.

Protein shakes and some high protein bars.
I would contact your primary care MD and have them take a look at you. You should not be this sick. tell them what you said here.
I found this information on web sites about Bariatric Surgery.
Weight loss surgery results in weight loss because it reduces the amount of calories you can consume and/or absorb. To avoid problems related to the food choices you make after surgery, it is important to select foods of high nutritional quality with adequate protein and key nutrients in small portion sizes.
Your healthcare team may suggest nutritional supplements to help add important nutrients to your diet to promote healing immediately after surgery, as well as to help meet your long-term nutritional goals. ResourceĀ® OPTISOURCEā¢, a specially formulated line of nutrition and vitamin products has been developed by Novartis for persons who have had weight loss surgery.

There is this great protein powder which you can mix with ANYTHING. It doesn’t change the taste or texture. I learned about it at a bariatric surgery support group. It’s called Bene-Protein and you can order it online from Walgreen’s (they don’t carry it in the store). Link to order, below. Get the tub, it’s the best value.
(I agree that all the protein drinks taste disgusting.)
